Process Shift Supervisor Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the daily operations of our processing production crew, ensuring safe and efficient plant and tailings storage facility management.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading diverse teams and possess excellent people management skills, maintaining a positive approach in their day-to-day activities.

The Process Shift Supervisor will be responsible for delivering production plans on-time and within budget, scheduling and assigning work to team members, and establishing priorities. They will also develop team capability through coaching, counselling, and developing team members in accordance with required competencies.

About You
  • Three Plus years as a leading hand or Shift Supervisor
  • Significant experience leading a diverse team in operating a Processing Plant in particular multistage crushing and screening circuit
  • Heavy media separation, grinding, flotation, reagents, and filtration systems
  • TOMRA ore sorters or similar
  • Excellent people management skills, while maintaining a positive approach in your day-to-day activities
  • Qualification in Frontline Leadership or Management
  • Significant experience in the application of Permit to work system
  • Confined Space, Gas testing, and working at heights
  • Certificate IV Process Plant Operation
  • Training and assessing (desirable)
  • Results driven, with a successful track record of delivering on KPIs, while showing humility in everything you do
  • An organised individual, who can prioritise and delegate accordingly and takes ownership of their work and their team's
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with fine attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software suit including teams
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing controls using INX software
  • Experience using Pronto or similar
  • Proficiency in the use of Citect/Scada control systems or similar
  • Current WA Driver's licence
  • Be able to hold the position of Statutory Supervisor as defined by Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022
