About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Global Travel Experience Specialist. This exciting opportunity is for someone who is eager to share their extensive knowledge of global destinations and passion for travel with customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating personalized travel itineraries that exceed customer expectations. Your exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently will make you an asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences & travel insurance
  • Build relationships with customers face-to-face and online, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments and cancellations
  • Facilitate domestic & international travel bookings and payments between travellers & suppliers, using Amadeus GDS
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-selling & up-selling of travel products
  • Manage travel credits, refunds and changes

You will be required to attend sales meetings and achieve targets & KPIs. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to attend industry events such as supplier & product events, ship inspections & travel expos.

Requirements:
  • Retail travel sales agency experience, essential
  • Certificate 3 in Travel or higher, preferred
  • GDS experience in Amadeus, Sabre preferred
  • Passion for travel industry and personal travel experience
  • Great customer service & communication skills
