We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across the firm to analyze business needs, provide data-driven recommendations, and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and ensure that we continue to provide exceptional service to our clients.
Main Responsibilities:- Gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements for client reporting, projects, and process improvements.
- Collaborating with stakeholders including partners and other lawyers to understand the data sets required and their purpose.
- Working together with other teams to provide information and bespoke solutions for complex legal reports.
- Understanding the design of data capture screens in order to work with internal and external resources to deliver the required screens.
- Extracting insights from large datasets to make data-driven recommendations, presenting data in reports, pivot tables, and visualizations, and assisting with the identification and correction of invalid data.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to optimize data management processes and operational effectiveness.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst, ideally with experience gained in a law firm or professional services setting.
- A high level of understanding in data analysis tools and techniques including SQL, Excel, SSRS, and PowerBI.
- Highly developed skills in capturing, organizing, and detailing business needs in the context of legal services and operations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in order to discuss projects, complex technical concepts, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
- An ability to cope with changing and competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
