Business Systems Analyst Position

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in analyzing business needs and providing data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for client reporting, projects, and process improvements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand the data sets required and their purpose.
  • Working together with other teams to provide information and bespoke solutions for complex legal reports.
  • Understanding the design of data capture screens to work with internal and external resources to deliver the required screens.
  • Extracting insights from large datasets to make data-driven recommendations, presenting data in reports, pivot tables, and visualizations, and assisting with the identification and correction of invalid data.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst, ideally with experience gained in a law firm or professional services setting.
  • A high level of understanding in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, SSRS, and PowerBI.
  • Highly developed skills in capturing, organizing, and detailing business needs in the context of legal services and operations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to discuss projects, complex technical concepts, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
  • An ability to cope with changing and competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with Aderant Expert or Legal Practice Management systems would be advantageous.
