Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for analysing business needs and providing data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Gathering, documenting and analysing business requirements to inform data-driven decision-making.
  2. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand the data sets required and their purpose.
  3. Providing bespoke solutions for complex legal reports by working closely with other teams.
  4. Extracting insights from large datasets to make recommendations, presenting data in reports, pivot tables and visualisations.
  5. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to optimise data management processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within a law firm or professional services setting.
  2. Strong understanding of data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, SSRS and PowerBI.
  3. Excellent communication skills to discuss projects, technical concepts and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
  5. Ability to cope with changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
