About the Role

The State of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Delivery Officer to join our team in the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering data analysis, project governance, and reporting for works under disaster resilience, recovery, and reconstruction funding arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Reporting and Analysis: Provide expert advice and risk identification to support internal and external stakeholders in achieving successful program outcomes.
  • Quantify and Verify Complex Data: Process monthly progress reports and payment claims, including interrogation of general ledgers and monitoring of cash-flow financial positions.
  • Monitor Program Performance: Ensure all projects comply with the agreed Project Funding Schedule and QRA's methodologies, standards, and practices, and present program performance reports to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Review and Deliver Program Progress Reporting: Ensure adherence to State and Commonwealth reporting requirements.
  • Identify and Mitigate Risks: Identify project and program risks through early issues identification with timely corrective actions and contribute to the continual improvement of reporting solutions to manage program risks.
  • Manage Program Controls: Safeguard assurance of program integrity by managing program controls, including variations and extensions of time.
  • Lead and Develop Reporting Solutions: Evolve established procedures and processes for Power BI dashboards, reporting, governance, and project controls, and ensure decisions and actions are ethical, well-documented, justifiable, and transparent.
  • Represent QRA: Represent QRA or the Manager at stakeholder meetings and events with relevant industry and community organizations and incorporate learnings into team and divisional planning.
  • Lead Collaborative Relationships: Lead and model highly collaborative internal relationships through the sharing of knowledge, experience, and reflections as part of a wider team of multi-disciplinary specialists.
