Funds Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Funds team as an Associate/Senior Associate.
Your RoleYou will be advising leading fund managers in establishing new Australian funds, raising capital and operating funds in Australia. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic advice to clients on new product development, regulatory change projects, remediation activities, regulator engagement, compliance uplift and ongoing strategic advice.
- Working with other practice groups, including M&A, regulatory disputes and banking and finance, on matters involving funds and fund managers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience gained from working in a funds, corporate or financial services regulatory practice from a leading top-tier, national or international firm, or in-house team.
- A passion to specialise in investment funds, while still building generalist expertise.
- A desire to learn and grow independently while maintaining a desire to mentor others and be team focused.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
