This role is for someone who speaks Arabic and has lived or acquired cultural understanding of Arabic speaking communities, their identity and experiences.

The position involves providing support to newly arrived humanitarian entrants to settle and orientate to life in Australia.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the cultural, political, and historical experiences of the people of Syria, Iraq, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

You will also need confidence conversing in English to other professionals in private and public settings.

Demonstrated competence in using essential business software (Microsoft Office) and mobile technologies is required.

An Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children are mandatory requirements for this role.
