About the Role

The Mental Health Clinician position is an opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals and communities. As part of our Community Mental Health team, you will work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals to provide comprehensive mental health rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality mental health rehabilitation services, including living skills assessment, vocational interventions, health promotion, and education, as well as psychological strategies to support recovery.
  • Develop and implement individual and group clinical rehabilitation plans that incorporate current models of practice and associated interventions.
  • Engage in proactive communication with patients/clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery and promote community linkage and partnership building.
  • Contribute to a multi-disciplinary team, exercising independent professional judgment on routine matters commensurate with years of experience.
  • Utilize computer skills to operate health information systems and ensure accurate data entry.
Requirements
  • Possess Social Worker or Occupational Therapist qualifications, hold current full registration with AHPRA, or equivalent qualification deemed acceptable by us.
  • Be a Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or a Psychologist with a four-year degree in psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
  • Hold a valid NSW Driver's license.
