About the Position

We are seeking a skilled mental health professional to join our multidisciplinary team at the Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service.

As a member of our dynamic team, you will provide high-quality patient care in mental health within the Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in mental health as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to service delivery aligned with recovery principles
  • Engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and apply professional boundaries in complex situations
  • Familiarity with health information systems and basic computer skills
  • Understanding of recovery principles and commitment to consumer, family and carer participation and consumer-focused care
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant healthcare authority
  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
  • Experience in delivering high-quality patient care in mental health at a postgraduate level
