Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Community Mental Health team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain individual and group clinical rehabilitation services, incorporating patient-centred care principles.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, families and carers to enhance service delivery and promote community linkage.
  • Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Commit to quality improvement and evidence-based practice in mental health rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Selection Criteria
  • A degree in Social Work or Occupational Therapy, alongside current full registration with AHPRA and/or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Demonstrated core competency skills in mental health rehabilitation, including planning, implementing and evaluating individual and group clinical rehabilitation services.
  • Commitment to a strengths and consumer-focused approach, promoting rehabilitation principles and associated interventions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective engagement with patients/clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team, exercising independent professional judgement on routine matters.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and health information technology.
  • Commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning, enhancing expertise in mental health rehabilitation.
  • Current NSW driver's license for occasional use during work hours.
