Highly skilled professionals are sought after to manage the design, planning, delivery and operation of AWS global infrastructure. As a senior data center infrastructure availability engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of our cloud services.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals with expertise in data center infrastructure engineering to contribute towards the success of our team. Key responsibilities include developing global lessons learnt strategies through incident management processes, reviewing root cause analysis and leading discussions for corrective actions related to site/equipment failures, contributing to colocation availability reporting for senior leadership, defining corrective global program implementation through strategic action plans, providing technical direction for single point of failure (sPOF) program and handling technical escalations on first-of-a-kind design features and projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years experience in infrastructure and availability engineering in data centers.
- Experience with end-to-end project delivery in large colocation infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of critical data center equipment.
