Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Recovery and Resolution Planning role is a high-impact second line risk function supporting Group Treasury in managing capital adequacy risk across the Westpac Group.

This 24-month fixed term opportunity requires you to provide oversight, guidance, and challenge across the Group's Recovery, Exit and Resolution Planning processes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to regulatory submissions, and help shape the future of risk management through data-driven insights and collaborative execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight on recovery, exit and resolution planning processes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies and policies
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive change and improvement in risk management practices

Requirements
  • Experience in banking or financial services, ideally within Risk, Group Treasury, or Finance
  • Strong understanding of risk management and regulations applicable to banks
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
