ING offers you the opportunity to be part of our growth story, adding or expanding on your International banking experience. We have an opportunity for an experienced Capital Adequacy Risk professional to join our financial risk division, specifically a high-performing team with a great track record of growing team members to maximise their skill sets and potential
As a senior member in a team of 4, the Manager - ICAAP and Capital Analytics has responsibility for performing a range of activities from (emerging risk) risk identification, risk quantification, reporting of stress testing & capital adequacy outcomes to strategic inputs based on conclusions - right across ING Australia's balance sheet (retail, business and wholesale).
Compared to other banks, you will get a lot more direct engagement with key stakeholders across credit risk, market risk and finance. You will work across several dimensions and get a broader exposure as well as access to management all the way up to C-suite. Your development as a well-rounded risk professional will be enhanced by working in this team.
Ready to make an impact?
**What you'll do**
- Perform capital adequacy assessments, scenario analyses and stress test in compliance with respective Australian and European prudential regulations.
- Deliver quarterly risk disclosure and ensure capital calculation reporting for all ING Australia portfolios.
- Interface with our ING Head Office team members and provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Determine solvency risk appetite setting and regulatory disclosures following the Pillar 3 requirements.
- Recovery and Resolution planning; designing and maintaining resolution and recovery frameworks and updating of respective policies.
- Interact and manage a wide range of stakeholders including Regulatory bodies (APRA and ECB), Consultants, Exco, SLT, Line 3 and Enterprise Risk.
**What we're looking for**
- Strong knowledge of finance and treasury concepts, financial markets, and both internal and external reporting.
- An understanding of prudential requirements with the ability to explain the banks position in plain language. E.g.; relevant APS, CPS and Pillar requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Risk Management (preferable) with a focus on capital planning, stress testing and scenario design as well as Pillar 2 models/methodologies.
- Experience in engagements with consultants and regulators.
- Proven experience of modelling, mathematical and statistical techniques with Intermediate to Advanced skill level of SAS and SQL
- Given our dual regulator (EU/AU) requirements, an understanding of European resolution and recovery frameworks and reporting would be very useful
- Ability to perform with tight deadlines in demanding environments with exceptional communication, influencing and time management skills
**What's in it for you?**
- Drop everything and learn with over 16,000 professional and personal development courses to choose from
- Discounted ING Health Insurance
- An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing
