Contract administrators play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. As a contracts administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of project management, including preparation and evaluation of tender documentation, subcontractor packages, progress claims, and administration of project expenditures.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years' experience as a contracts administrator for a head contractor in Australia. Preferably, they should have experience in fit-out and refurbishment projects. A tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management is also desirable. Additionally, proficiency in Procore and knowledge of the NSW construction market are highly valued.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver commercial projects across NSW with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. They will work closely with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation and evaluation of tender documentation
  • Management of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiation, and finalization of subcontracts
  • Administration of project expenditures and management of project HSE system

Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience as a contracts administrator; preferably experience in fit-out and refurbishment projects; tertiary qualifications in engineering or construction management; proficiency in Procore; knowledge of NSW construction market.
