Information Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the way in records and information management.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions and contribute to key initiatives. You will also collaborate with team members across the organisation to ensure Council's physical and electronic records are well-managed throughout their lifecycle-including appraisal and disposal.
A key part of your role will be delivering training and tailored advice to staff, empowering them to capture and manage records accurately and consistently.
You will have demonstrated project management experience in records management, able to contribute to continuous improvement across our systems and processes.
- Manage Council's records lifecycle
- Lead records-related projects, including optimisation of our Electronic Document and Records Management System
- Deliver engaging training sessions and provide expert guidance
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions
- Ensure compliance with records management policies and best practices
