Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a curious and driven individual to join our Information Management team.

As a Data Analyst, you'll work closely with stakeholders across Council to deliver meaningful insights through data analysis, visualisation, and reporting.

  • Partnering with stakeholdersacross Council to understand their goals and deliver tailored analytics solutions that drive smarter decisions.
  • Creating dynamic dashboards and reportsusing tools like Power BI-making complex data easy to understand and act on.
  • Working in a modern technical environment in Microsoft Azure to extract, transform, and load data meeting diverse business requirements.
  • Handling diverse data sources, from APIs and IoT devices to traditional databases, developing modern data warehousing architectures.
  • Ensuring data quality and accessibility, so that Council teams can rely on accurate, consistent information to support their work.
  • Championing data governanceand helping others build their data literacy-because informed teams make better decisions.
  • Maintaining and evolving our analytics environment, keeping documentation up to date and systems running smoothly.

This role is designed for someone who's eager to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.

About You

You're either nearly completing or have recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. You're ready to take the first step in your career and bring:
