Key Retail Leadership Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to shape strategy, drive operational efficiency and deliver sustainable growth across a national retail network.

The Position
  • Develop and execute short, medium and long-term retail strategies to optimise current assets and grow future markets.
  • Drive profitability across both fuel and convenience channels, while improving underperforming sites and expanding the company-owned network.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and partnerships to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal and operational standards.
  • Contribute to the Executive Committee, driving strategic direction.

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing retail management team.
  • Align operations, merchandising and property functions to deliver business outcomes.
  • Identify and implement training and development opportunities to strengthen capability and foster career growth.

About You

We are seeking an experienced leader with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum 10 years' experience managing a physical retail sales network (fuel retail experience highly regarded).
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering financial results.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary retail operations, concepts and trends.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt in a competitive market.
