We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to elderly residents in aged care facilities across Australia.

Job Description

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. You will also provide support with mobility, transfers, and meals, as well as help maintain a safe and clean living environment.

You will monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the relevant staff members. Additionally, you will engage residents in social activities and companionship to enhance their quality of life.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care is provided to our clients. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ months previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant or in a similar role preferred
  • Cert III or higher in Aged Care, Community Care, Disability, or Individual Support
  • MEDICATION COMPETENCY HIGHLY REGARDED
  • Current National Criminal History Check
  • NDIS Clearance
