Senior Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Senior Finance Business Partner. This key role will support the strategic growth of our energy retail division by providing financial oversight and guidance to our commercial teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional who wants to leverage their analytical skills, business acumen, and relationship-building abilities to drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis, forecasting, and planning in a commercial finance setting. They will be able to communicate complex financial data effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance on strategic initiatives, pricing, and operational performance to our commercial teams.
  • Deliver analysis on revenue, volumes, products, sales, retention, and profitability drivers to inform business decisions.
  • Lead forecasting, planning, and analysis for customer acquisition and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Drive the Finance workstream for our billing platform transformation project.
  • Support acquisition opportunities and business development initiatives.
  • Improve financial processes, reporting, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of energy retail billing platform finance capabilities.
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Business partnering track record with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
