The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  2. Providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to a clinical ward, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication management;">
  3. Actively engaging in clinical governance, research, and education, promoting stewardship and quality care;">
  4. Mentoring staff, collaborating with teams, and supporting continuous improvement;">

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist with no restrictions to the scope of practice;">
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in hospital pharmacy, including at least 12 months as a clinical pharmacist in a specialty area;">
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with hospital staff and patients;">
  • Judgement and independence in problem solving, with the ability to apply clinical drug knowledge in complex settings;">
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams, with participation in clinical meetings and rounds;">
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to contribute to quality assurance activities;">
  • Experience in teaching programs, with the ability to mentor and supervise pharmacy staff.">
