Clinical Oncology Pharmacist Role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in providing high-quality cancer care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
">Key Responsibilities- Clinical Pharmacy Services: Perform comprehensive medication reviews, therapeutic drug monitoring, and optimization of cancer therapies to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Medication Management: Oversee the end-to-end medication management process, including reviewing, validating, compounding, dispensing, and checking of chemotherapy and supportive medicines.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Mentor and supervise pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy technicians, promoting clinical excellence and performance optimization.
- Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with the Pharmacy Leadership Team to develop and maintain standards of practice, clinical guidelines, and formulary processes.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to departmental initiatives in medication safety, quality use of medicines, staff education, and practice-based research to support innovation and best-practice oncology care.
- Registration: Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA (no conditions on practice), eligible for Grade 2 classification under the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award.
- Clinical Expertise: High-level clinical expertise in Cancer Care pharmacy services, with thorough knowledge of governance, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage meaningfully with patients.
