About the Role

The Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Consultant plays a pivotal role in providing culturally safe, trauma-informed, and holistic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families, and communities.

This position is grounded in the SEWB Framework, which recognises that wellbeing is inseparable from connection to land, culture, spirituality, ancestry, kinship, and community.

We seek an experienced professional with a deep understanding of the impacts of colonisation, trauma, and systemic disadvantage. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEWB frameworks, case management, and supporting people with complex needs including mental health, substance use, or family violence.

A key aspect of this role involves facilitating yarning circles, group programs, or cultural healing activities. Experience in these areas is highly desirable.

As a member of our team, you will have access to a comprehensive range of qualifications and training, including Working With Children's Check, National Police Check, and Immunisations according to SA Health Immunisation Policy. You will also need a relevant VET qualification or equivalent tertiary qualification.
