Lead Spiritual Care Specialist

Eldercare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to lead our spiritual care team.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering integrated spiritual care services that reflect our organisation's wellbeing strategy and model of care. This involves developing and implementing strategies to promote the spiritual wellbeing of our residents, as well as providing training and coaching to colleagues on spiritual care best practices.

What You Will Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in theology/ministry, counselling, pastoral care or equivalent from an appropriately accredited program.
  • Capacity to work at Level 3 or 4 of the Capability Framework for Spiritual Care Practitioners.
  • Completing a minimum of one-year full-time spiritual care experience upon completing four Clinical Pastoral Education units.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and administration skills as a Coordinator and/or Senior Spiritual Care Practitioner.
