About the Role:

The client provides top-of-the-line construction equipment through sales and hire of heavy machinery. We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site servicing and repair capabilities
  • Diagnose customer issues via phone where necessary
  • Prepare accurate reports on field work carried out
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent communication skills
  • Adhere to and promote a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Earthmoving, and Industrial (or Equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years post-trade experience within the Earthmoving industry
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical Systems
  • Proficiency in Fault Diagnostics and Diagnostic Software
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Sound work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively
