Job Title: Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist As a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our development machines. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive technical support and advice to customers.
  • Facilitate seamless start-ups of development machines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and participate in machine commissioning activities.
  • Offer advanced technical support for development equipment in the field.
  • Coordinate new product field trials, documenting results and identifying opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Compile field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities related to major failures and unresolved reliability issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify solutions for customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification.
  • Experience working underground with longwall mining equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
