Job Title: Field Services Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. This role involves delivering exceptional on-site after-sales support for mobile and crawler cranes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing heavy lifting equipment, preferably cranes. Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences, are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is able to work autonomously and collaboratively with engineering and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of crane systems to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and load-testing to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Train clients on safe crane operation, maintenance protocols, and troubleshooting basics.
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to escalate complex issues and improve product design.
  • Document service activities, including fault diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage, in detailed reports.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for timely procurement.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience servicing heavy lifting equipment, preferably cranes.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • A valid driving license and ability to work independently.
