Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on possible immigration pathways to support business growth and meeting current and future workforce requirements. This includes advising on the implications of state and federal immigration policy on business operations, employee engagement, and retention.

This role involves reviewing financial projections and gaining approvals to support visa applications. It also requires demonstrating transparency within the organisation, holding regular meetings with stakeholders, and communicating key information where appropriate.

To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for shaping and influencing company culture. You must thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and take pride in delivering work to the highest standard. Excellent time management and teamwork skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • SUPPORTING THE BUSINESS PLANNING PROCESS TO MEET CURRENT AND FUTURE WORKFORCE REQUIREMENTS
  • ADVISING ON THE IMPLICATIONS OF STATE AND FEDERAL IMMIGRATION POLICY ON BUSINESS OPERATIONS, EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT, AND RETENTION
  • REVIEWING FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS AND GAINING APPROVALS TO SUPPORT VISA APPLICATIONS
Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • MARA registration
  • Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law
  • Previous experience working in a migration agency (minimum 2 years)
  • Knowledge of Australian migration legislation and procedures
