Our Business and Tax Advisory team supports clients in managing their compliance and planning for continued business success and growth. We deliver new ways of thinking, big-picture perspectives, and acute insights to help clients make informed decisions.
Your Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager to join our Business & Tax team in Wollongong. The successful candidate will provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium-sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to clients
- Develop technical expertise working across services, including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle market clients
- Play a key role in client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders
- Develop into a mentor to assist other team members and encourage their continued professional development
Requirements
- Experience in tax, accounting, or business services in a similar environment
- A passion for ongoing learning and professional development
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- An ability to establish and develop effective professional relationships
- A proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines
