Job Description:

At Healthscope, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscope Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of instrument reprocessing and sterilization, maintaining equipment in good working order, and adhering to industry standards.

About the Role:
  • We are offering an estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing thermal disinfection inspection, packaging, and sterilizing of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas;
  • Ensuring compliance with AS/NZ standards 4187 2014 and GENCA;
  • Operating, interpreting, and documenting all machinery operational requirements;
  • Reporting and documenting all quality activities;
  • Maintaining priority of instrumentation and processes;
Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation and reprocessing procedures;
  • A Certificate III in Sterilisation Services;
  • An Olympus reprocessing certificate (advantageous) or familiarity with Olympus equipment;
  • Endoscopy reprocessing experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills, including MS Office and various databases;
