Job Title: Office DirectorWe are seeking an experienced Office Director to join our Sydney office. As the face of our operation, you will be responsible for managing daily office operations, building management, community engagement, cultural driver, reception/front of house, employer branding, onboarding, project work, and health, safety, and security.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to lead our Sydney office and contribute to the regional growth of the Endava brand. You will be working closely with stakeholders and clients, fostering a positive team culture, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Manage daily office operations, including meeting room allocation, building access, weekly grocery orders, maintaining office tidiness, and overseeing travel and delivery coordination.
- Administer furniture/equipment inventory, oversee building contracts and maintenance, monitor utilities, ensure compliance with legal standards, and maintain relationships with the landlord.
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen team connections through community events, drive participation and engagement via internal communication platforms and social media, coordinate fortnightly community lunches, and assist leadership with company-wide announcements and All-Hands.
- Advocate for an inclusive workplace that unifies our stakeholders and leadership team, articulate and represent Endava's values to foster a positive work culture.
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests and clients, conduct tours of our newly renovated office space.
- Collaborate with our People Experience and Marketing teams for internal and external events, meetups, conferences, community-based activities, and celebrations that represent Endava's cultural values.
- Support our People Experience team with onboarding, provide a welcoming experience for new starters.
- Cross-functionally collaborate with stakeholders from other teams to support various operational projects within the region.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, act as a security and fire marshal, and provide first aid.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at using platforms like Office365, MS Teams, and Viva Engage.
- A maturity and inclusive mindset enable you to effectively connect with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and seniority.
- Capable of multitasking and problem-solving with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Adaptable and proactive, ready to evolve with changing priorities.
- Comfortable learning new systems and technologies quickly.
- Passionate about Operations and interested in evolving your career within the Operations space.
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
