Strategic Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented individual to support our group with strategic planning, operational improvement, M&A and other strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and numerical skills, including experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or corporate finance. They will be responsible for performing market analysis, providing operational KPI analysis and modelling, supporting tactical and strategic pricing work, and assisting in the coordination of M&A and other growth opportunities across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform market analysis to identify industry trends, threats and opportunities across the group
  • Provide operational KPI analysis and modelling to identify operational improvement initiatives, cost opportunities and revenue opportunities
  • Support both tactical and strategic pricing work (including long term contract pricing negotiations)
  • Support strategic analysis and decision making for key strategic growth initiatives, including greenfield plant developments and M&A
  • Assist in the coordination of M&A and other growth opportunities across the group, including financial modelling and business cases development
  • Support the annual strategic planning process and budget setting
  • Evolve and enhance business reporting to best align with operational and strategic value drivers

Requirements

1+ years of experience in strategy consulting / investment banking / corporate finance or relevant in-house strategy / corporate development team; excellent analytical and numerical skills including strong financial and commercial acumen; ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-performance environment; advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
