About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will lead the operational management of our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) in Electricity SCADA systems. This is an enterprise role that requires technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the design, configuration, testing, commissioning, administration, and support of the Electricity SCADA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the registration, validation, and testing of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) onto Jemena DERMS systems. They will ensure connections fit the requirements of the connection process and participate in the customer connections workflow, taking ownership of connections processing onto the Jemena DERMS.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading ADMS operational design, configuration, testing, commissioning, administration, and support of the Electricity SCADA
  • Leading the registration, validation, and testing of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) onto Jemena DERMS systems
  • Ensuring connections fit the requirements of the connection process and participating in the customer connections workflow, taking ownership of connections processing onto the Jemena DERMS

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Electrical / Control System
  • Distribution Electricity industry background, preferably in a hands-on OT role
  • ADMS/DERMS background preferred
  • Asset connection/commissioning onto DERMS, SCADA, or AMI experience
  • Strong understanding of electricity distribution network topology and configuration management of SCADA, AMI, and DERMS
  • Strong understanding of the Common Smart Inverter Profile (CSIP-Aus)
  • Excellent knowledge of ADMS design, configuration, and integration
  • Configuration management of an OT system
  • Critical infrastructure and application support
  • Experience in client-facing roles, including projects, and ability to support 24-hour operations
  • Excellent problem-solving, fault-finding, and analytical skills
  • Influential and capable of managing expectations of the system and capabilities by providing a clear understanding of the status, capabilities, constraints, and path to value of the SCADA
  • Highly collaborative with a focus on continuous improvement

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience
