About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our tourism initiatives and drive growth in the industry.

This role involves leading, facilitating and partnering on specific projects, programs and initiatives to support new and renewed investment in tourism infrastructure.

The successful applicant will provide timely, high-level briefings, submissions, reports, correspondence and presentations on a range of tourism policy and program issues.

  • Lead, facilitate and partner on specific projects, programs and initiatives.
  • Represent the department in discussions/negotiations/meetings and develop and maintain effective networks and relationships.
  • Undertake and co-ordinate research and provide strategic policy advice and leadership.
  • Provide advice on tourism industry related programs/projects.
  • Work in partnership with other government agencies to grow tourism.
  • Foster a workplace culture that supports First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
