About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and skilled professional to contribute to the development of the tourism industry in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other areas of the department, local councils, and industry bodies to achieve this goal.

This role involves liaising with tourism operators to ensure their enquiries are resolved within our service delivery timelines. It also includes input into our data management system and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain documentation to track progress and provide advice to management on delivering tourism operator enquiries.
  • Support workload management, meet deadlines, and complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
  • Provide administrative support for projects and programs as required.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tourism operator support and enquiry resolution.
  • Prepare concise client correspondence and ministerial documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and ensure a consistent approach to case management.
  • Foster a workplace culture that supports First Nations people and engage actively through work to contribute to better outcomes.
