Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team at MaxiPARTS Limited. As a key member of our Parts Interpreter team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial truck and trailer parts distribution business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Parts Identification and Sourcing: Utilize our extensive database and catalogue system to identify vehicle details and source the perfect part for our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the flow of parts, from receiving to dispatch, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Financial Procedures: Prepare invoices and handle financial procedures for stock sales, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in stocktakes and maintain clear communication with both customers and internal departments, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Return Management: Assist in managing the return process following company guidelines, ensuring seamless customer service and minimizing losses.

Requirements

  • Parts Knowledge: Prior experience in a parts interpreter role, preferably within the truck and trailer industry, is highly desirable.
  • Retail Experience: Proven ability to connect with customers, understand, and deliver on their needs, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Confident computer and literacy skills, with a strong understanding of inventory management systems and software.
  • Safety Focus: Strong commitment to health and safety practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: A handy knack for things mechanical, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to building positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that meet their expectations.
