We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team in Townsville. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting and advising both internal and external stakeholders on parts across our diverse range of premium brands.
Key Responsibilities- Maximise all parts sales by liaising with our client base and providing regular inventory flow to ensure adequate and appropriate supply.
- Provide expert parts interpreting services and support to our Townsville branch activities.
- Build relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business and promote the use of genuine parts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest product developments and updates, using this knowledge to maximum advantage.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Completion or in the process of completing a certificate in Parts Interpreting or equivalent industry training and/or experience.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a parts interpreting or related industry role.
- Sound knowledge of MTU, Detroit Diesel, Allison and other associated products sold through our Parts departments.
- Basic knowledge of the principles of operation of internal combustion engines and automatic transmissions.
