About this opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Land Management Specialist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in bush regeneration and vegetation management, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake various vegetation management and rehabilitation activities for private industry and government authorities as part of a professional team.
  • Conduct tasks such as bush regeneration, habitat restoration, native tree planting, brush cutting, weed control, chemical spraying, and vegetation clearing for bushfire management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' experience in bush regeneration, including herbicide application, brush cutting, and manual control techniques.
  • A general knowledge of vegetation communities, including local native plant and weed species identification.
  • Completed or enrolled in Certificate in Conservation & Land Management or related qualification relevant to bushland management.
  • Practical knowledge of work health and safety policies and procedures, risk management practice, and principles.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and field equipment.
  • Physical fitness, a solid work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to function in a team environment.
