Restoration Specialist - Providing Expert Restoration Services
About the RoleThe Restoration Specialist will provide expert restoration services to clients whose properties have been damaged by unforeseen circumstances such as fire, flood, or malicious damage. This role involves cleaning, deodorising, and restoring carpets, furniture, and other building contents on site, as well as cataloguing and transporting items when onsite restoration is not possible.
This position requires a proven track record of demonstrating drive and energy, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically.
Key Responsibilities- Attending water damage, fire damage & mould jobs
- Performing mitigation & restoration works
- Providing peace of mind to clients
- Liaising with internal office staff and external clients
- Preparing reports for insurers
- Completing job documentation
- Travelling around Newcastle
- Working a rotating on-call roster
- Proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Physical fitness
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
- Valid & clean driver licence
- IICRC qualification highly regarded
