We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone looking to launch their career in data center operations and infrastructure management.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with the on-site management of contractors, vendors, and sub-contractors, ensuring that all work performed meets established practices, procedures, and local legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining performance benchmarks, conducting analyses, and preparing reports on all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Generating Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed.
  • Learning and contributing to documentation relevant to business and facility operations.
  • Assisting with the installation of racks and provision of power/cooling within constraints.
  • Participating in routine maintenance and emergency services on various critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
  • Assisting in the design, implementation, commissioning, and build-out of new facilities.
  • Managing facility assets and providing infrastructure and inventory asset management as directed.
  • Interfacing with Infra Ops teams for day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Resolving any infrastructure engineering or services issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
  • Data Center Engineering/Operations experience preferred but not required.
