Job Summary: ALG is seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Officer to join their team at Mascot Airport.
As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining company premises and equipment to the highest standards. This will involve operating forklifts, performing general warehouse housekeeping duties, and managing assets, tools, and inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain company premises and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment skilfully and safely.
- Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organization.
- Manage assets, tools, and inventory tracking to ensure accurate records and efficient use of resources.
- Engage in manual handling tasks efficiently and safely.
- Handle pick packing operations with precision and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Valid Forklift License and minimum 3 years' experience.
- Ability to lift 20kg.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Willingness to obtain an ASIC (airport identification).
- Flexibility to work on a 7-day rotating roster.
- Ability to comply with medical requirements (drug/alcohol and physical tests).
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and good communication skills.
About ALG: ALG is a well-established organisation based in Mascot Airport, offering a great opportunity for a Warehouse Officer to gain positive exposure to the aviation industry.
What We Offer: An ongoing casual contract with full-time hours and potential for permanent placement based on performance. Shifts are scheduled 4 on 4 off (days and nights).
