Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Business & Wealth Division Transformation Office. As a key member of our team, you will drive the achievement of our strategy by performing and leading data analysis tasks.

">

Your responsibilities will include:

">
  • ">
  • Performing gap analysis and providing recommendations to the business for operational and data workflows.">
  • Understanding and analyzing your Business portfolio for everything data and delivering solutions to the highest quality.">
  • Designing and developing end-to-end ETL process for large data sets, ensuring integration with PowerBI and other applications.">
  • Designing and developing user-friendly and intuitive PowerBI dashboards for value-add insights and acting as a trusted advisor to the business.">
  • Providing technical expertise to the technology team on data workflows.">
  • Managing requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs.">
  • Providing recommendations for process redesign and improvements and business solutions.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication.">
  • Analyzes situations and numerical tasks thoroughly.">
  • Manages data analysis activities in complex projects independently.">
  • Best practice project risk management and compliance.">
  • Proven stakeholder management and strategic direction.">
  • Extensive experience in Banking & Finance, analytical roles, and Business Intelligence.">
  • Advanced SAS/SQL, Excel skills, and familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams); knowledge of Westpac Group Data Warehouses is desirable.">
