About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Officer to join our team at Air Mobility Group (AMG). This role will play a critical part in contributing to the development of AMG training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team in delivering learning materials to support AMG platforms.
  • Perform analysis, design, development, and evaluation of complex learning and development activities, including curriculum development.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement to determine aviation and maintenance training needs and lead development of relevant curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain supporting systems, policies, and processes, evaluate and recommend learning and development strategies for emerging capabilities, and conduct governance activities in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Defence Learning.
About Our Team

Air Mobility Group is responsible for preparing and conducting air mobility operations for Defence force projection. Squadrons within AMG operate globally on a daily basis and are often the first on the scene when deploying Defence assets in time of crisis.

We operate six aircraft types in a range of roles covering air logistics support, airborne operations, and air-to-air refuelling. We also support a range of tasks, including aero-medical evacuation missions and search and rescue.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual able to engage and communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders on the provision of complex learning and development services for multiple aircraft platforms.
