Job Overview

SIXT Australia, a leading car rental and travel company, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Commercial Insights Specialist to join its Finance team on a full-time basis until May 2025. As a key business partner and financial expert, you will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth and supporting the company's ambitious expansion plans.

About the Role

This hybrid opportunity offers the flexibility to balance office collaboration with remote productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales, to identify opportunities and improve business outcomes. Your expertise in data analysis, modelling, and problem-solving will be crucial in making informed decisions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a thought-leader by identifying areas of opportunity for the business and applying critical thinking to datasets.
  • Buidling and maintaining productive relationships with National Sales Accounts and Marketing teams.
  • Clearly articulating and presenting analysis, insights, and recommendations to various stakeholder groups.
  • Ensuring timely preparation, distribution, and presentation of financial performance and key performance indicators.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Strong data analysis, modelling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial systems and Business Intelligence tools in a commercial environment.
  • Ability to work in Australia and adapt to shifting business requirements and priorities.

Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. The position is based in Sydney, offering a hybrid work arrangement that balances office collaboration with remote productivity.
