About the Organisation
">Our organisation is a social enterprise focused on creating employment opportunities, pathways and training for individuals with disability. We have been in operation since 1958 and as a registered NDIS provider we deliver quality personalised services that help achieve individualised outcomes.
">We have a diverse workforce of over 600 people, with almost 50% being individuals with disability.
">We provide employment and training opportunities in various fields including retail, administration, e-commerce, warehousing and logistics, packaging and assembly, and gardening services to the local business community, while providing employment in a safe and structured environment.
">About the Role
">We are seeking a Support Worker to support our clients with disabilities to develop new skills that prepare them to achieve their employment goals. Our motivated clients come to us with a range of goals, including wanting to find a job, learning how to use public transport and to explore individual interests.
">Support may include assisting a person in a work environment while they are gaining experience and skills for work, modelling appropriate workplace behaviours and encouraging communication. This is a truly rewarding role for an individual looking to help build employability skills to those living with a disability.
