Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Services Support Associate to join our Environmental Services Team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing essential support services to clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with transporting patients and equipment under supervision.
  • Distribute meals, collect patient trays, clean kitchen and fridge, distribute menus.
  • Safely segregate, collect, handle, store, transport, treat, and dispose of various waste streams, including infectious, pathological, chemical, and pharmaceutical waste.
  • Strip sanitize beds and remake after discharge of patients.
  • Clean, tidy, and sanitize ward areas.
  • Deliver and maintain high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including wards and operating theatres.
  • Comply with HACCP, Workplace Health and Safety, and Infection Control regulations.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks, including decontamination of beds, wards, and equipment.
  • Check inventory of oxygen and suction equipment, replace as necessary after discharge, and check oxygen cylinders.
  • Maintain stock levels in cleaners' room and trolley and report on faulty equipment.
  • Ensure equipment used during your shift is cleaned, restocked, and stored correctly.
