Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to coordinate the dispatch, utilization and timely delivery of concrete trucks. This involves managing orders and ensuring that they are delivered on time while working closely with team members and production to maximize service.

Another key responsibility is to ensure that drivers are kept up to date on job requirements and daily schedules, and to notify stakeholders of any deviations to the schedule or late deliveries.

Furthermore, this role requires a keen eye for detail to comply with driver fatigue management, statutory requirements and company health and safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in scheduling or dispatch in real-time is preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service and solution-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple systems
  • Well-developed problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
