Dispatch Coordinator

This role will focus on facilitating customer satisfaction through order taking, scheduling, delivery efficiency, and internal communication. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for dispatching orders accurately and providing top-notch service to external customers and internal employees.
Responsibilities:
- Transportation Logistics: Coordinate transportation schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Customer Service: Provide clear and effective communication with external customers and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Dispatch Coordination: Schedule, take orders, dispatch, and manage customer relations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to optimize personnel and equipment use.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with repairs and maintenance of dispatching communication equipment.
- Account Management: Communicate with management and accounts receivable to establish current customer account status.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of like work experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups, supervisors, customers, and the general public.
- Strong PC skills required; previous experience with logistics software a plus.
