We're seeking a Senior Transportation Expert to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects and solutions. With extensive experience in major rail and transport infrastructure projects, you'll be responsible for driving business growth, shaping market strategy, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth & Business Development
    • Identify new opportunities and secure professional services engagements across NSW/QLD and interstate markets.
    • Lead tender preparation (e.g., EOIs, RFPs, RFQs) and develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Project Delivery & Oversight
    • Lead the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects as an advisor or embedded leader.
    • Ensure high-quality, practical outcomes that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Management and Leadership
    • Build and manage a growing team of transportation experts, project managers, and data scientists.
    • Oversight resourcing, coaching/mentoring, team development, and operational planning aligned with our strategic direction.
  • Key Account Management
    • Maintain strong relationships with Government agencies, transport authorities, and private sector clients.
    • Develop a deep understanding of their evolving priorities and needs.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer status and a tertiary qualification in engineering or a transport-related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in transport or infrastructure projects, with a focus on rail, road, and/or integrated transport systems.
  • A respected industry profile, established relationships across Government and private sector transport organisations, and a willingness to travel interstate/internationally.
