A leading commercial interiors company is seeking a Senior Estimator with expertise in shop fitouts and Australian construction practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender proposals for commercial fitout projects.
- Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and scope alignment.
- Provide cost input during design development, offering value engineering insights where necessary.
- Collaborate with project and design teams to maintain financial accuracy throughout project phases.
- Maintain up-to-date pricing databases and historical cost benchmarks.
- Assist with progress claims and cost-to-complete reports during construction delivery.
- 3–5 years of experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying, with at least 2 years in Australian commercial/shop fitouts.
- Excellent understanding of local building codes, construction standards, and market pricing in NSW and wider Australia.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX, Buildsoft, or similar platforms.
